  1. Hi Tom,

    The chamois no size 6?

    regards

    Andy

  2. Andy,

    The sizes available are 7-12D.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  3. Great looking shoes Tom! May I suggest doing these in the Trubalance last next round of ordering? I think they will look even better that way!

  4. Hi Tom,

    Any custom order?

    Regards

    Andy

  5. Charles,

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll definitely keep in mind!

    Aloha,

    Tom

  6. Andy,

Not right now but later when things settle down we will offer a preorder.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  7. Yes, yes, very interesting, but I think that most people are interested in the status of the Alden Snuff Suede Flex Toe Boot order.

  8. Tom,

I would like a pair in 10 1/2 in the brown reverse oiled chamois if they fit like the Indy Boot. My Indy’s in the 10 1/2 fit well, with plenty of room.

    Thanks,

    Alex

  9. Mike,

I send them out as soon as Alden makes them. Sorry for the delay, trust me, I really want those boots to arrive too!

    Aloha,

    Tom

  10. Alex,

Yes, you would take the same size, 10.5D. Please contact Bryan at bryan@lsfootwear.com to order.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  11. Tom,
Eagerly anticipating the opening here in BH!!!!

    Those Monks look amazing.

Also, are you going to carry Trickers in BH? Just noticed the logo on the site.

  12. Tom, I was just teasing you, friend. Thanks. Michael

  13. Jeremy,

Initially we will only have Tricker’s in Waikiki. Do you think they will do well in Beverly Hills?

    Mike,

No worries, I don’t take too many things too seriously. If I did I would go crazy!

    Aloha,

    Tom

  14. Tom,

I can only speak for myself and a handful of friends amongst whom Tricker’s would be very appealing in Beverly Hills.

I think they’ll appeal to anyone who comes in looking for Alden’s, EG, Etc.

Your shop is going to be unique for us here in LA. I can’t think of anywhere that specializes fine men’s footwear at this level.

Again, can’t wait. Keep some Ravello and Whiskey for us Angelenos.

    Jeremy

  15. Tom,

Great news about Trickers. They are a very underrrated brand, but they make great shoes. I have a pair of PTBs from them that are really, really nice. Are you going to be carrying the 1829 line?

  16. Jeremy,

Thank you for your insight. I will definitely consider carrying Tricker’s at LSBH. As soon as our LSW order arrives I will game plan for LSBH.

    Sri,

I will only be carrying the Country line from Tricker’s. I believe my other brands have the dress category down pretty good.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  17. Tom,

    when do “things settle down”?

Any rough estimate when you will start pre-orders (also for non standard “D”-sizes) and how long we will have to wait after pre-order for those beauties?

    Br,
    Arne

  18. Arne,

I’m sorry, I can’t say. There is a lot of planning involved with ordering shoes, especially for a brand new store. I have already placed orders for over a year out. Any add on orders will be based on initial reaction and business in BH.

As with all preorders, the timeframe is generally about 6 months from the time we place the order and receive confirmation from the factory.

Hopefully things will settle down for us in a couple months at which point we can start offering preorders for those with non stock sizes.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  19. Tom,

Thanks for the reply. Please do drop me a line when stock comes in 🙂

  20. Hi Tom,

Just for future reference, what are the additional costs other than the list price? Is there a flat rate for shipping to Continental US? Is there a sales tax if you purchase it out-of-state?

  21. Chester,

Please see our about page: http://www.leathersoulhawaii.com/about

    There is no sales tax.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  22. Do you have any left in a size 9D in the cordovan?

  23. Adam,

To check availability, please email bryan@lsfootwear.com.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  24. Thanks for a perfect service , Tom….

  25. Are any of these boots still available?

    Thanks,

  26. Hi Tom,

I take a 7.5 on the Trubalance last. Do you have any Pitt Boots in black Cordovan for this size in stock, or coming in the future?

    Thanks,

    • Joe,

We’re expecting another shipment in about 3-4 months. You may want to give Bryan at LSBH a call if you would like to put a deposit on a pair.

      Aloha,

      Tom

  27. Tom

Found a pair of these boots on ebay. How do they fit compared to the Indy’s?

  28. Ben,

    We recommend the same size.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  29. Same size in both styles (i.e. 8.5 indy is 8.5 pitt)? Got it. I’ll keep my eye on them, as I’d hate to see these fall into the wrong hands 🙂

  30. Tom, been trying to find my ideal pair of Alden boots for some time. The Pitt boot in color #8 is as close as it gets I think? Will you ever get them in in that color again? Also, if I have to settle for black, can I still put in an order?

    • Eric,

We actually never had the Pitt Boot in #8, only black shell and brown nubuck. We may get it in #8 sometime in the future though.

      Aloha,

      Tom

  31. Thanks Tom. Do you have any of the black shell left?

  32. Talked with Bryan at (LSBH)regarding the Pitt boot in black but am thinking that the brown reverse chamois would be better suited for business casual (khakis/dark indigo jeans). Agree or no? Do you have a size 11.5 left or in your second shipment? Thanks. Just pre-ordered the Natty NST Tanker…can’t wait!

    -Adam

  33. Adam,

I prefer the black but that’s me. To me, the reverse chamois is much more rugged looking. The black still is casual even though they’re in shell. I think the color has more to do with your decision though. What suits your outfits more, black or brown?

    Aloha,

    Tom

  34. Tom,

What else is coming out in the reverse oiled chamois for fall?

    Thanks,

    Chris

  35. Will these be restocked especially that brown reverse oiled chamois?

  36. Hello, I am trying to narrow down a boot for my husband’s birthday gift– do you happen to have these in a 9.5.

    Thanks!!

  37. oops, I forgot to add that I would like them in chamois.

  38. I forgot to add that I am looking for the Chamois boot.

  39. Hi, do you have this in size 8D? for black

  40. Hi, might there be a restock of the Black PItt Boots in the future?
