John Lobb – Garnier II (LSW & LSBH)

Waikiki

July 16, 2010

John Lobb’s Garnier II is an example of the phrase “simple is best.” Clean lines, the perfect shape of the 7000 last, and the quality and finishing of the prestige line make this shoe a classic dress shoe for the ages.

We currently have them available in black calf or plum museum calf. This might be your last chance to get a John Lobb shoe in museum calf as museum calf has been discontinued by John Lobb.

  1. Why has Museum Calf been discontinued?

  2. Clark,

Not sure. I will find out.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  3. Tom, I am a US9.5EE in Alden. Is there an equivalent size in either EG or Lobb?

    • Parker,

JL has a UK EE which actually fits like a wide US E so it may work for you. EG has a UK G width which is like a US EE or EEE. If you have any questions please let me know.

      Aloha,

      Tom

  4. Beautiful shoes Tom.

And in regards to Clark’s question, Museum Calf has been discontinued because that tannery is no longer selling their leather for shoes. Or at least that is what I have heard over at the ole’ StyleForum.

  5. Hi folks: I take an 8G in English shoe size. Do you have the plum colour available in this size. Please let me know and I will have my son pick them up for me as he is currently in Hawaii with the US Navy. Thanks you, A Donald Lee

    • Donald,

Thank you for the comment and inquiry. If you are an 8G UK, is it safe for me to say you are about an 8.5EEE US? If so, I’m sorry, we only stock US D widths in this shoe. We would be more than happy to special order you a pair but please be advised that museum calf has been discontinued.

Wishing your son the best as he protects our country as well,

      Tom

  6. Elegant shoes, Tom! I thought Plum Museum would be more reddish. Is it the light?

  7. Thanks Gene. This batch is very dark burgundy in tone.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  8. Hello Tom,

    Are the Garnier;s still available?

    Thanks in advance.

    Myk
