Edward Green – Ram’s Head Ladbroke in Hazel (LSW)

Waikiki

January 5, 2011

It’s interesting how one detail changes the look of a whole shoe. For our latest EG offering, we chose the Ladbroke in Hazel Antique on the 888 last. To make it a little different, we had a ram’s head medallion added to the toe.

  1. Hi,

Do you have this in 5.5 UK ? If I wear a 5.5 in EG last 888, what would my size be in Trickers Keswick (38, 39 ?)

    Thanks.

    • Haresh,

Yes, we do have 5.5E available. If you are interested please call or email us.

You would most likely take a 5 in Tricker’s.

      Aloha,

      Tom

  2. I know they are EG but they do look like Loakes 1880’s.
Can you tell me a little more about the leather?

  3. Derek,

What would you like to know about the leather? Please let me know. Sorry, I don’t know how Loakes are to compare.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  4. Do these come with the trees? Also, do you have these in UK9 (normal width)? Thank you,

    ELG

  5. ELG,

Shoe trees are $125 extra. Yes, we do have UK 9E in stock. If you are interested please let us know.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  6. With respect to the leather, I was thinking that the material would be better than the Loake Knightsbridge in the Loake 1880 collection, which looks like the same shoe. So I would like to know about the material to justify the price point? Are they made at the same factory in England? I have a few EGs in my collection and they are unique. Just would like to know. Thanks

    • Derek,

I apologize but we do not have an experience with Loake shoes. As you are an Edward Green owner already, I’m sure you can attest to the quality of craftsmanship and leather used by Edward Green.

      Aloha,

      Tom

  7. Hey there,

Does the 888 last run true to size. I normally take a 7d in US sizing, church 6F, etc…

  8. scott turville on

Do you still make the Ladbroke and if so do have it in a 7.5 d?
