Dressed up like a million dollar trouper, trying hard to look like Gary Cooper…

A throwback to 1946, our newest Alden shoe is a retro-inspired design that we hope make your feet feel like dancing the night away. This wingtip on the Plaza last in fine grained black kidskin makes us think of the days of Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby.

…If you’re blue and you don’t know where to go to, why don’t you go where fashion sits, puttin’ on the ritz.

    The best version of that was performed by Peter Boyle in Young Frankenstein. His shoes weren’t as nice as these!

    Classic. Any details on what the kidskin is all about? Is it similar to lady calf?

      Jason,

      Kidskin is a very fine leather, more so than lady calf. It’s quite thin and unique. It wrinkles a lot but that’s what gives it character.
