Alden’s NST (Norwegian Split Toe) blucher is an iconic American shoe. Four skillful ladies at the Alden Shoe Company factory meticulously hand sew every NST that makes it to store shelves all around the world. It’s a little detail that makes a big impact to those taking note.

Our newest Leather Soul Exclusive Alden shoe is the NST Saddle Blucher. A saddle detail along with an oiled double “waterlock” sole make this NST, a little different, and to the Alden fanatic, a little different makes a big impact.

    Looks very nice. Do these size about the same as other Alden’s on the Barrie last?

    These will fit 1/2 size smaller than the Barrie last.

    The front part is shell #8 cordovan, right? Is the back part, black calf leather?

    Would love to see in Cigar or Ravello!
    If I wear a 8.5 in Barrie where would I be in these? And do you have that size in stock?

    Hi Tom,

    Another outstanding offering…

    I’d love a pair. My large and relatively uncommon 12EEE sizing most likely requires a pre-order.

    If you would continue your practice of offering pre-orders for Aldens, I will place more orders with Leather Soul.

    That said, when you go to restock these — I’ll order a pair — in any color shell…

      Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately the Leydon is not available wider than an E. For a EEE fitting you would be limited to the Barrie, Trubalance, Hampton, Van, and Aberdeen.

      We’ll continue to try to offer preorders once a month so please keep tuned!

    If I’m a 7.5D in a Hampton or Plaza and my heels slips a tiny bit in a 7.5D Aberdeen, and am ever-so-slightly toe-inhibited in a 7E Aberdeen, what would I be in this pretty Leydon?
