Alden Shoes – Spring Boots (LSW)

Who says boots are only for Fall and Winter? For those doubters we present our Alden Spring Boots, tan suede plain toe boots with a light weight red micro rubber sole.

Basically high top “dirty bucks,” these boots wear equally well taken care of and pristine or beaten up and well worn. Either way, they provide maximum comfort and style.

    Yes, everything lined except the tongue. Sorry, only D widths available.

    How does this shoe fit? If I gave you my measurements off a brannock, would you be able to tell me what size would work best?

    Tom,

    The Barrie last tends to run 1/2 size larger than standard US dress shoe sizing. If you give us your Brannock measurement including your heel to bal measurement, we can offer a recommendation.

    Here are my Brannock measurements heel to toe 10.5 width d, heel to bal is 12.

    Tom,

    Because there is so much difference between heel to toe and heel to bal, I do not feel comfortable giving you a recommendation without seeing you.

    Conventional wisdom would recommend a 11.5D for the Barrie last however. I think it will be somewhere between a 10-11.5D, that’s the problem.

    Do you have any Alden shoes currently?

    Dang I wish you had my size!

    After looking at these for a while, it seems like they would look cleaner without the speed hooks, and with eyelets all the way up. What do others think?

      Sorry, we do not have those sizes available. Normally we stock D widths unless special ordered. Also, our shoes tend to sell out within 1-2 weeks of posting on the website. If you come in May, hopefully there will me other new models for you to see.
