My First SCs

I’ve been wanting a pair for about 5 years now and finally got one, the 105 wingtip in “blackish brown” crust leather on the chiseled last. They really are amazingly beautiful in person.

The fit is very nice as well.  I take a 9F Edward Green 202 and 606, 9E Barrie last, 8.5EE John Lobb 7000 last.  I ordered 8.5G and they fit perfectly.  The support throughout the waist and heel is sublime.  Somehow, it really does feel like a hand made shoe.

    Nice pair there; they’ll likely age very nicely. Given that it in fact is a handmade shoe, it certainly ought to feel like one. Or did you mean bespoke?
