Can’t wait to release this boot. I can guarantee it’s not for everyone, but it’s not intended for everyone. It’s a imitation cap toe on the Trubalance last with a tan wedge sole. We’ve chosen two colors, natural Chromexcel and black regina calf. It’s going to look so great with a pair of Iron Heart jeans…

    Dear Tom,

    I know this is off topic, but I wanted to let you know that I just took an American Art History class at my junior college here in California & the instructor is very aware of American heritage clothing, etc.

    I sent him links to Alden, you guys, & The American List from A Continuous Lean.

    I was astonished to learn that 90% of the shoes sold in America are made in China.

    Also today, in our local newspaper, people are complaining that Sears is shuttering many US stores, and the fact that most stuff is made in China now. One guy mentioned Quoddy as an American holdout, & I therefore mentioned Alden & links to your site.

    I hope that this somehow drums up some new business for you.

    Okay, it’s time for another teaser flick of these boots. I’m a big self edge fan & have been waiting what seems like forever to see these boots in all of their glory. Spied a few worn pictures of a pair on the Iron Heart forum, but show us them fresh out the box.
