To commemorate their 120th anniversary, Edward Green has released a limited edition model, the Sandhurst, in two variations, on the 888 last with a double leather sole and on the 202 last with a dainite sole.
Each individually numbered pair will include a special box and special 120th anniversary shoe trees.
We chose Hazel Antique for our 888 lasted version and Mahogany Country Calf for our 202 version at LSW. LSBH will be releasing the 202 version with Rosewood Country Calf.

The Dover is a classic, no doubt, but this limited edition Sandhurst would be a nice addition to an Edward Green fan’s collection.
We do stock the Dover in a few combinations. Currently Dark Oak and Edwardian at LSW and Dark Oak and Olive at LSBH.

These are UK E width (US D width). LSBH will be carrying UK D widths.

I am reluctant to say this when it contradicts you, an Edward Green dealer, but it is my understanding that the widths are the same for EG US and UK sizes. The shoes are a bit snugger than typical, but that is simply a reflection of EG’s view that they should fit snugly, like a slipper.
Boy, the Sandhurst is a handsome shoe.

Thanks for your comment. It’s a great point and observation. I look at it like E is a wide US D and D is a narrow US D. I typically wear a 9 wide US or a 9.5D if no wide is available. However, there is no way I can wear a 9D UK EG. 9E fits me fine, even better with stretching.
This is a great example on the importance of trying before buying. Numbers and letter don’t mean anything, it’s the fit that is the most important.

What is the best way to clean/maintain the rosewood/pebble calf? How does it wear compared to standard calf?

I would treat it like regular calf. It wears very strong, but probably will not patina as nicely as regular calf in my opinion.
