Alden Shoes – The Hawaiian Stomper (LSW)

Waikiki

July 22, 2010

The Hawaiian Stomper has always been a favorite of ours since we introduced it back in 2008. The oily kudu leather and double leather sole make this shoe a great choice for a casual, kick-around shoe.

SOLD OUT!

  1. Nice to see these are back in availability! I love wearing my stompers in not so ideal weather!

  2. Thanks Charles! Glad to hear you like your pair.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  3. Ooh, I am wearing the 2008 edition right now! No storm welt on that one though 🙂 They have broken in beautifully- and all I have done to maintain them is to wipe them down with a damp cloth once in a while.

  4. I wear an 11D in the Barrie last…what size would I need in the Leydon?

    • Jim,

Either a 11E or 11.5D would work, both of which we have. To. Order please give us a call or shoot us an email.

      Aloha,

      Tom

  5. Tom,

I’m considering placing an order for the stompers. The most comfortable Alden fit I’ve been able to achieve is a 7E on the Aberdeen. Would 7D work on these?

    Best,
    Mike

    • Mike,

The Leydon last fits pretty similarly to the Aberdeen so you would probably take a 7E as well. 7D may work but if the 7E fits great, I would stick with the same size.

      Aloha,

      Tom

  6. PLEASE add these to the pre-order list! If not on this one, any idea how soon you will make another order of these shoes? All the best!

    Kyle

  7. Kyle,

What size are you interested in? We have some in stock now.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  8. Kyle,

Sorry, no 10.5D in stock at the moment.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  9. Tom,

Time to re-sole my Hawaiian Stompers. LOVE THEM!! What is your opinion on Commando souls on low top Stompers?

    Sean

  10. Sean,

I think it would be great but I think a double oiled waterlock sole would be ideal!

    Aloha,

    Tom

  11. Tom,

Do you sell the replacement laces fr the Hawaiian Stomper? They are waxed, right?

  12. One more question… What do I use to reapply the oiled kudu dressing?

  13. Sean,

We don’t have replacement laces but if you don’t mind waiting about a week we can get you some. They’re $3/pair.

As far as the kudu, you could use a leather conditioner such as Rennovatuer or an oil such as Neets Oil.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  14. Would love to order three extra pairs. What do yo need from me?

  15. Would Montana Pitch-Blend All-Natural Leather Dressing work?

  16. Hello,
Do you have any 11D in stock?
    Thanks!

  17. Sorry,
    I meant 11E

  18. Tom, is it the same color as the original 2008 as they look different on website? And do you still have 11D (I wear 10.5D in Barrie last so I figured that’s the right size). Thanks, Ray

  19. Ray,

Yes, they are the same. I apologize for the difference in pictures. One picture was taken outside and one was inside under store lighting.

Sorry, all out of 11Ds, only 11.5D left.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  20. Thanks Tom. What a bummer. Can you put me down on the wait list for the next run?

  21. Hello,

I wear a size 11 in the Alden Longwings. Which size would work for me, and is it available?

    Jason

  22. hi there have a quik qn; what belt would you match this with? very curious. i’ve been taught to match belts with shoes. and yes, very new to this…

  23. Dylon,

I would say, any type of dark brown would do. These are extremely casual shoes so a perfect match isn’t really a big deal.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  24. As of October 5th you said you still had stock on an 11.5 D in your Hawaiian Stomper. Do you still have stock?

    Thanks for your time

    Chris

  25. Chris,

Yes, we do have it in stock.

If you are interested please shoot us an email.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  26. Are these gray? I thought kudu leather was a darker brown.

And if I’m a 10.5 D on the Trubalance last, will an 11E on the Leydon last work, considering that’s all that’s in stock?

  27. Hi,

Do you have any 9.5D left in stock?

    Thanks

  28. do you have an 11.5D in this shoe?
