What type of soles do these shoes have? Do they have the traditional leather light color alden soles?

Follow-up question that I forgot to ask. What about the heal? Is the overall construction similar to traditional Alden models like the 920 or 925? I know that some Alden dealers periodically carry an Alden shoe that I understand is popular in Japan and has the term “balance” or “balance system” in the name. It is a somewhat thicker full rubber heel. I am asking I have seen it on a few occasions in a model shoe that looks similar to this one. Thanks for your help.

Yes, the sole and heel are the same as models such as #920. The rubber Foot Balance heel is typical for shoes made on Foot Balance lasts such as the Modified, which is found in Japan.

I wear the Alden unlined chukkas in 10.5 should it follow that if i order these shoes that im a 10.5 as well? Sorry, but I relatively new to Alden shoes you help is very appreciated! Im afraid to order I might get the wrong size!
