O’Mast explores the culture and tradition of tailors and tailoring in Naples. For lovers of Italian culture and craftsmanship, it is a gentle but engaging glimpse of life in the city, focusing on a handful of tailors, tailoring aficionados and industry heavyweights speaking about their origins, views on style and the how the city of Naples makes it all possible.

Over the past decade, Styleforum has grown into one of the largest, most diverse, and most engaged internet communities for men’s style and fashion.

One of the services we offer our customers is a complementary pair of socks to use and keep if they do not have a pair of socks when they try on shoes in store. Recently we’ve updated our plain black socks to something a little more fun and inline with our LS branded colors.

In the few months since Will has joined our staff, he has become our resident expert polisher. To make his job a little easier, we’ve just purchased a Pilgrim polishing machine and installed it behind the LS Bar at LSW.

Pilgrim Shoe and Sewing Machine Company has been around for over 50 years right by Alden Shoe Company a few towns over in Quincy. We’re proud to add this Made in the USA machine to our store.

On Friday January 27th, we were fortunate enough to make our yearly visit to the Alden factory in Middleboro, Massachusetts. It was the first visit for Shig, Will, and Oki. A full day of hands-on learning topped off with a hearty lunch at the Fireside Grill and dinner at Burton’s Grill with Alden’s owner, Art Tarlow and VP Bob Clark gave priceless insight and knowledge to the guys so that they may be able to better assist you with your Alden needs.

Rest assured, Tom has a bunch of new ideas brewing after this visit as well…

Edward Green’s Top Drawer program gives you the opportunity to customize their models above and beyond what is possible in their MTO program. Changes to medallions, wings/caps, fitting adjustments, etc, can all be done in TD.

Greater attention to detail is also placed on TD orders as a single shoemaker is in charge of a single pair from beginning to completion.

It seems as though every year goes by faster and faster. 2011 was an extremely monumental year for us. Our first full year in Beverly Hills, the opening of the LS Lounge at LSW, and the addition of new staff members highlighted 2011.
