LSW Construction Update

Construction for our expanded store should begin next week.  We’ll be doubling our size to about 2700 square feet. The new space will feature our higher end lines, Saint Crispin’s, Anthony Cleverley, and John Lobb. We’ll start posting construction updates here leading to our targeted completion the first week of November in time for the APEC convention here in Waikiki.

Black, Brown, Grey

I have been in love with Alden’s lady calf flex welt series ever since I was first introduced to it back in 2004. The butter soft calfskin coupled with the softer flex insole and oiled flex outsole make for an unbeatable comfort level.  Since then, I’ve ordered many different variations of lady calf with flex welt shoes and boots and every single one has been a hit.

Today I’m wearing the black flex longwing. I changed out the laces to match the antique edgetrim. I think it makes for a nice casual look. My jeans today are RRL slim fits in grey, a recent sale pickup from the Beverly Hills boutique, regular price $360 down to a steal at $108! Japanese denim, made in the USA, a great combo.

Alden Shoes – #8 Shortwing for Style Forum (LSW & LSBH)

Our latest Alden model was designed for the members of Style Forum, particularly those who post and read the official Alden thread.

The combination of Horween color #8 shell cordovan and an antique edgetrim sounded like a great idea and now that we finally see it in the flesh, Style Forum was right.

A double waterlock leather sole and regular welt round out the details.

As most of our order was presold, stock is very short but based on the feedback so far, we’ll be sure to reorder again very shortly.

SOLD OUT!

Vintage Daytona

I love watches. But, I’ve never gotten into vintage pieces. Today, my friend David brought over a few rare vintage Rolexes for me to take a look at. It’s pretty amazing how these watches age beautifully, just like a patina on a well worn pair of shoes.

This particular Daytona from the 1970’s is for sale so if you’re interested I’ll put you in touch with the owner.
