Saint Crispin’s – 104 Austerity Brogue (LSW & LSBH)

The austerity brogue has long been a favorite of ours here at LSW.  The EG Beaulieu started the craze and it continues with Saint Crispin’s #104 in burgundy.

A couple pair already left us yesterday, one to our friend GW in Australia who will no doubt influence many others to follow suit.

$1700.00 (lasted, hollowed shoe trees included)

  1. Congratulations on picking up the SC line. They are some of the nicest looking shoes in the world. This SC shoe makes the Beaulieu appear pedestrian by comparison.

Have you thought about picking up Vass? They’re my favorite casual style shoe, and they do Shell Cordovan better than just about anyone.

  2. Thanks Jacob. I’ve thought about Vass years ago but couldn’t make it work. They make a very solid shoe! I still long for a Budapester in shell.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  3. Tom, a great looking shoe! I’m looking forward to receiving mine shortly. Best of luck. Don.

  4. Thanks Don! Your pair is on its way to you!

  5. Tom,

How do these fit compared to the EG 202 last.f I wear a 9 us on the 202 what size wou ld you reccomend? Th meanks

  6. WOW – these are solid.

Having had 7 pairs of MTO Vass, I can safely say that these are not only double the price but more than double the quality, presentation & feel.

Thank you to the team @ LS for such exemplary service!

  7. Colin,

If you wear a 8.5E UK Edward Green 202, we’d recommend an 8F Saint Crispin’s.

    Aloha,

    Tom

  8. GW,

Looking forward to your thoughts after you wear them.

    Thank you!

    Aloha,

    Tom

  9. Tom, received them today and all I can saw is WOW! A great looking shoe, really nice with grey pants or a charcoal suit!

  10. Tom,

I have come to the conclusion that I have too many pairs of Burgundy shoes with the new Alden shortwing and the EG sandhursts. Decided to get the austerity brogues in the brown color of the 106’s shown above. How did I do?

    -Colin

  11. Quick clarification….I ordered them from Bryan @ lsbh

  12. Dear Tom,

On what last is the Model 104 build on? I am a US9D on the Leydon last, what size would I be on the Model 104?

    Thanks.

  13. Dear Tom,

I have a question. If i wear Vass u last size UK 9.5 and Church’s 9.5 f width what size would you recommend for me on SC with classic last? Are riva and Chisled last bigger than classic?

    Thank you.

  14. Hi. Would you happen to have a size 5.5 in stock (I take a 5.5F in the classic last)? Thanks, Jeff

    • Jeff,

Thank you for your patience. Oki should be in contact with you regarding your email shortly. I believe we are out (unless he has it on hold for you) but can get one to you in 4-6 weeks if you do not mind the wait. There would be no special order upcharge or fee.

Sorry, sometimes it takes 2 days for us to reply due to in store traffic, employee scheduling, and other variables. Also, one of our full timers is on vacation right now so we are understaffed.

      Aloha,

      Tom

  15. Hi guys,

Love the SC models you have showing here. I am very interested in the Austerity Brogue in black. If I reside in HK, what would the total price be to me? I know it is listed at USD 1,600, but what types of tax/shipping costs are involved??

    Thanks!

    • Sun,

If you are in Hong Kong, why not visit the Armoury or Armoury II? They are wonderful to deal with and local to you!

      Aloha,

      Tom

  16. Tom,

I am visiting LSBH for St. Crispin’s trunk show in October, and was wondering if there would be this pair of shoes to try on, and if I were to have one made to order, how long of a lead time would it be?

  17. Gregg Ushiroda on
