Following the success of our color #8 Plaza monk strap we present the black shell cordovan version.
Noticeable differences from the standard Alden monk strap include the use of the Plaza last and a silver buckle, something many have asked for.

We love double monks and when we received these they really blew us away.
Our latest double monk strap is the Saint Crispin’s 505 on the classic last in a combination of Inca and crust leather. The saddle on this shoe really sets it apart from other double monk straps.

Our most recent Alden flex model is the snuff suede Plaza semi brogue. Continuing on the success of the shell cordovan version of this model, we decided to offer a flex version in suede. Our third LSBH Alden trunk show release is the Vanguard Boot, one of the three boot finalists in last year’s Alden design contest, designed and named by JR from New York.
Although it did not win, we thought it was a good idea so we offered it as a preorder after the contest. The combination of Horween brown chromexcel and brass eyelets really set this boot apart. We added a rubber Quabaug heel to the double waterlock leather sole for all day comfort on your feet.

Two variations of our popular Alden Plaza Wingtip Boots were released for our LSBH Alden trunk show, one in natural chromexcel and the other in cigar shell cordovan. We’ve been having the cigar shell cordovan version every now and then since 2006, but the natural CXL version was a new release for us.
The “natty” version was actually a finalist in last years design an Alden contest by BM. Although it didn’t win, we thought it was a great idea so we decided to make it anyway.

Available in hand finished cognac or espresso French calf, these hikers are made with genuine Norvegese construction by Italian maker Borgioli. A light weight Vibram lug sole provides comfort and durability.

A little over a year ago we had an Alden shoe design contest. The winner of the shoe category was our friend MW and his brown Horween chromexcel leisure handsewn loafer. This winning shoe proved that sometimes appeasing a simple desire is best. Rather than thinking of an off the wall new design, MW simply wanted the iconic LHS in CXL, one of the best casual leathers available. An antiqued edgetrim and single oiled waterlock leather sole rounded out the details.

Our final Tricker’s release of the year is the Keswick in grey with a black dainite sole.
Grey, a very unique and rare color for shoes, makes for a fun and interesting casual shoe to wear with jeans or chinos. A natural welt and brass eyelets give a nice color contrast.
