Alden Trunk Show at LSBH

Our winter Alden trunk show at LSBH is on Friday and Saturday December 9 and 10. Nate Humble from Alden Shoe will be on hand to “talk story” about Alden shoes. We will be releasing a few new models during the show.

Alden Shoe – CXL LHS (LSW & LSBH)
A little over a year ago we had an Alden shoe design contest. The winner of the shoe category was our friend MW and his brown Horween chromexcel leisure handsewn loafer. This winning shoe proved that sometimes appeasing a simple desire is best. Rather than thinking of an off the wall new design, MW simply wanted the iconic LHS in CXL, one of the best casual leathers available. An antiqued edgetrim and single oiled waterlock leather sole rounded out the details.

Early Morning Staff Meeting
A “shoe circle” from today’s monthly staff meeting. Definitely not a GQ-approved wardrobe but we’re all family and it’s early in the morning so it doesn’t matter.
Breakfast from Zippy’s is always served. Today we had chili and cheese omelettes.

Tricker’s – Keswick in Grey (LSW)
Our final Tricker’s release of the year is the Keswick in grey with a black dainite sole.
Grey, a very unique and rare color for shoes, makes for a fun and interesting casual shoe to wear with jeans or chinos. A natural welt and brass eyelets give a nice color contrast.

Tricker’s – Stephy (LSW)
After 7 years of providing what we consider the best in men’s footwear, we present to you our very first women’s shoe release, the Stephy by Tricker’s.
Women buying men’s shoes from us is not a rare occurrence. In fact, our Alden and Tricker’s boots in particular have been quite popular with women. Luckily we normally stock our men’s shoes from size 5.5D or 6D which works for most ladies.
Our Stephy is made with 1oo1 burnished leather on Tricker’s lady’s last. A pink pull tab is a kawaii detail we added as a special touch.
*At press time we are happy to announce that these boots have been quite popular so far in-store. We will be continuing to order Tricker’s women’s boots going forward.

LSBH Event at Wolfgang’s

Our latest Tricker’s boot is this longwing galosh boot in burgundy with dainite sole. A typically American style, the longwing is seldom featured on a boot. However, we think it looks great paired with the Tricker’s country aesthetic.
