Will’s Polishing Machine

In the few months since Will has joined our staff, he has become our resident expert polisher. To make his job a little easier, we’ve just purchased a Pilgrim polishing machine and installed it behind the LS Bar at LSW.

Pilgrim Shoe and Sewing Machine Company has been around for over 50 years right by Alden Shoe Company a few towns over in Quincy. We’re proud to add this Made in the USA machine to our store.

Ryan Plett

Ryan Plett, Creative Director of Style Seek and author of TravelWell and YHBTI visited us at LSW this week during his visit to Oahu. It was nice to meet another extremely passionate individual in “the business.”

I was able to spend some time with Ryan taking him around to some of our usual spots such as Side Street Inn and Gaku. Ryan was gracious enough to feature some of our time together on his websites. There’s a bunch of amazing pictures of Oahu. Please take a look and spread the word!

Alden Shoe – Lady Calf Flex Slip On Chukka (LSW)

Our latest Alden release is the Lady Calf Flex Slip On Chukka on the Copley last.

The Copley is a seldom used last but very underrated in our opinion. Similar to the Aberdeen last but with more room in the toe, the Copley fits true to size and has a nice classic round toe shape.

Soft lady calf provides ultimate comfort and Alden’s flex insole and oiled leather outsole make this chukka a joy to wear.
