Tonight we opened the door to the LS Lounge addition to LSW. The Lounge features our lineup of John Lobb, Anthony Cleverley, and Saint Crispin’s shoes. We are also featuring our collection of about 100 various scotches and whiskeys. Throughout the year we will be hosting private scotch tastings in partnership with Shiroma’s Wine and More (SWAM).

It was a rough week stock-wise for our Alden customers since the factory was doing inventory. You should have seen everyone’s faces of relief when Gio, our UPS delivery man, rolled in with a much needed shipment of Aldens!

Construction is almost finished and our barricade goes down tomorrow morning. Final cleaning is set for Thursday and furniture arrives on Friday. We’ll be setting up all weekend to be ready for business on Monday morning, just in time for APEC.
Maybe President Obama will visit us and have a scotch.

The portal to the new space is just about complete. The door went in today as well as the etched glass. It looks great to me, I’m very happy with it! Thanks to the extremely talented carpenters at J Kadowaki!

The highlight of our expansion will be our scotch bar, stocked with almost 100 bottle of various scotches, whiskeys, bourbons, and ryes courtesy of SWAM (Shiroma’s Wine and More).
We will be introducing the “LS Club” shortly, a member’s only club with perks such as free gifts, services, and most importantly scotch, wine, and beer tastings throughout the year. Membership will be limited and initially only available to invited Hawaii residents.
I’m looking forward to working with Jill Shiroma, owner of SWAM, and of course, the scotch.

Today is a pretty monumental day. It’s the day we bust through the wall and connect the new side with the existing shop. I’ve been here since 5:00am with the contractors as they do their work. Things are getting exciting and I can’t wait to be able to use the extra space.
